Donations

Seems like people wanted to donate and so I am putting up a donation button and page. However, please don’t feel any pressure in thinking you have to donate for me to continue translating.

I am committed to translating between 4-6 chapters a week. I translated more in the 1st week because I just started and had a lot of motivation. But each chapters is about 2000-3000 Chinese characters. Usually around 2300 Chinese characters. It typically takes me about 2.5-4 hours depending on the difficulty. So going forward, I’m willing to commit to about 4-6 chapters a week, which is doable in addition to my other obligations.

However,  I guess you can motivate me more if you want lol. But unlike Ren from wuxiaworld, I’m neither as good nor as fast.  Also unlike Ren, I don’t really have a rate of donations that would guarantee an extra chapter. But it’s not as high as $80/chapter. So there is no way I can do 3 chapters a day everyday. So the limit I’m willing to translate to is:

2 chapters max weekday, 3 chapters max weekend

16 chapters max a week

I will credit each chapters with up to 5 sponsors.

The donations will first go to upgrading the site and adding features/layout to the site. Currently I’m using wordpress free, and it is limited in how much I can change things.
